Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara Ann (Finney) Edelman, 81, will be celebrated at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church by Fr. Kevin Koch. Vigil for the Deceased will be recited at Bustard's Funeral Home, Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday at Bustard's. Rite of Committal will be conducted at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Edelman died July 15, 2010 in Casper. She was born August 26, 1928 in McCool Junction, Nebraska to Gerald and Florence Finney. She was the second of ten children. She was raised and attended school in Seneca, Nebraska and attended college in Chadron, Nebraska. She married Wayne Arnold Edelman December 27, 1948 in Seneca, Nebraska. They lived in several communities before settling in Midwest, Wyoming. Barbara enjoyed playing bingo, doing jigsaw puzzles and traveling with her family. She is survived by six sons and two daughters; Dale (Sandy) and family of Fremont, NE, Douglas (Debra) Edelman of Douglas, Rodney (Vicky) Edelman of Buffalo, Lucinda (Tracy) Sutherland of Midwest, Gerald Edelman of Evansville, James (Brenda) Edelman of Casper, Barbara Damon of Castle Rock, CO, Donald (Kym) Edelman of Suffolk, VA. Barbara has numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Also surviving are her daughter-in-law Laura Edelman of Seneca, NE and four brothers and three sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Dennis, three brothers and two great grandsons. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to the American Heart Association.
