Beverly Jean Clark Hamar passed away at Primrose Assisted Living on October 27, 2025. She was born on March 17, 1934, in Oxford, Nebraska, to Clarence and Opal Clark.
She spent her childhood in several locations, including Pavillion Wyoming, and Anderson California. After graduating, she settled in Casper, Wyoming, where she met Glenn Hamar. Family and friends had shared photographs of the two, believing they would make a good match. One evening, by coincidence, they both found themselves outside the Rialto Theater in Casper, recognized each other from those photographs, and began a conversation that marked the start of their life together. They were married soon after in Columbus, Ohio, where Glenn was stationed. They later made their home in Casper. Beverly was employed for many years at the Dean Morgan Junior High cafeteria and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Glenn, granddaughter Lisa Hamar and daughter in law Lynn Hamar. She was also preceded by an infant grandchild and infant great grandchild. She is survived by her four children, Rick (Kathy) Hamar, Kris Hamar, Pam (John) Reyes, and Blake Hamar; seven grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
A family memorial will be held at a later date. In place of flowers, donations may be made to the Casper Humane Society.
