Brian Dale Andress

Brian Dale Andress, age 67, of Casper, WY, passed away on November 22, 2025, in Minot, ND.

He was born in Peoria, Illinois on April 3, 1958, to Robert Andress and Mary (Rader) Andress. He attended Natrona County High School and went on to complete a career in the oil and gas industry.

Brian had a love for his family and friends that was not defined like most relationships. He was not bashful when he wanted to speak his mind or make an off-handed joke, followed by a smug grin that turned into a smile. Even with his sense of humor, he did not lack compassion or understanding for others. He was ready to help anyone at any time. Brian was genuinely selfless, always doing for others without seeking recognition.

Brian spent his life working to support his family, driving millions of miles across the states, many times including his kids as stowaways. His family did not go without, and he took great pride in knowing that. In his later years, Brian loved to spend time with his rescue dog, Zero, his grandchildren, and kids. He supported his son-in-law’s music ventures with pride and loved his daughter-in-law as his own, frequently having dinner dates. Brian loved to grill and cook, often calling to say, “Ribs are ready!” and delivering plates to friends and family. While he was home, he could be found sitting under the apple tree on his front porch, watching cars go by and talking to anyone who wandered by.

Brian was proud of his children’s accomplishments and the lives they led. He loved sharing time with his grandson Nixon, showing him the things only a grandpa can share. Shooting off fireworks and doing “man stuff” in his garage were times Nixon cherished. Becoming a grandpa was one of Brian’s greatest joys. Welcoming Carley and Brinley filled his life with even more love and pride. He was joyfully anticipating the arrival of Emma and Caleb’s baby.

Brian is survived by his children, Chad Andress (Forristt), Tracy Haley (Kaspen) their mother, Geri Andress- Browning; grandchildren, Nixon Taylor, Carley and Brinley Haley; daughter in law Emma Mallory; siblings, Greg Andress (Gayle), Sue Weber (Roy), David Andress (Beth), and Sara Whited (Bob), all of Casper, WY. Brian is also survived by his loyal hound Zero, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Robert Andress and his mother Mary Andress.

A service will be held at the Refinery at Three Crowns on Friday December 5, at 3 pm.
