Carolyn Fay Tobin

March 2, 1945 — April 19, 2024

Carolyn Fay Tobin, 79, passed away on April 19, 2024 in Casper, WY surrounded by loved ones.

Carolyn was born on March 2nd, 1945 to Clayton D. and Mildred Walker Wyatt. She grew up in Casper, WY with her parents and 3 brothers Delmar, Ron and Jerry. She attended Natrona County High School where she graduated in 1963.

In high school, Carolyn met John Tobin, who she would later be married to for over 60 years. Her and John had two sons, Forrest and Daniel. The 4 of them lived on Two Bar Ranch. Carolyn loved attending motorcycle races, wrestling, and other sporting events for her sons. As she grew older, attending Casper College T-Birds basketball games grew to be a favorite pastime for her and her husband John.

After a successful career, Carolyn went on to retire from New York Life. She loved to spend her free time gardening, tole painting, and being around her family and close friends. Carolyn loved her family deeply, and enjoyed every little moment spent with them. Carolyn was an exemplary friend, mother, and grandmother. She embodied many qualities: unconditional love, generosity, kindness, and strength that were seen throughout her lifetime. Her wisdom, humor, and kindness will be greatly missed.

She is survived by Husband John Tobin, Forrest (Heather) Tobin (Kolton, Kaila, and Kelby), Daniel Tobin (Bailee, Taylor), brothers Ron and Jerry, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Mildred, and brother Delmar Wyatt.

Carolyn's family will be holding a Celebration of Life this summer.
