Chantelle Marie (Lindig) Oakes Chantelle Marie (Lindig) Oakes, 25 passed away July 14,2010 following an accident on the North Platte River in Casper, Wyoming. She was born February 13,1985 in Douglas, Wyoming to Fred and Nancy Lindig. She graduated from Rock Springs High School in 2003, Western Wyoming College in 2005, and the Casper College Nursing Programin 2007. Following graduation she worked for Wyoming Medical Center as a registered nurse. On September 5,2009, she was married to Josh Oakes. In May of 2010 she also began working with Care Net Pregnancy and Resource Clinic of Casper as a part-time staff nurse. She attended College Heights' Baptist Church, and following her wedding, became a member of Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church. Her family and friends remember her as a follower of Jesus Christ who had a passion for life and spread cheer where ever she went. She loved to spend time with her husband, parents, brothers, in-laws, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and church family. She enjoyed her pet cats, bird watching, reading, outdoor activities and Bible study. She is survived by her husband of Casper, her parents and brother Tanner Lindig of Rock Springs, brother Zachariah Lindig of Atlanta, Georgia, parents- in-law Don and Rachel Oakes of Casper, sisters-in-law Suze Oakes Kerns and Patty Oakes of Casper, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
