Charles A. "Chuck" Strosnider

February 18, 1944 — September 30, 2025

Charles A. “Chuck” Strosnider passed away at home with his loving wife, Peggy, by his side on September 30, 2025. He was 81 years old.

He was born to Charles Clyde and Violet Mae Shilling on February 18, 1944. He was raised in Chester, West Virginia with brothers, David and Rick.

He was married to Darlene Walker, and they had two daughters, Linda Lee and Keri Ann.

He built industrial chimneys all over the United States, with his wife and daughters following him.

In his younger years he loved fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles as well as enjoying the outdoors with his daughters. He taught them a love for classic cars. He was routinely seen in the bleachers at his girls’ games.

Chuck was blessed when his daughter, Linda, gave birth to his grandson, Cody, who loved him dearly.

After his divorce, he moved to Casper Mountain to get away from people. He met Peggy Grady, who he married. Thank you, Linda Sharp, for the push. They enjoyed driving the beautiful state of Wyoming back roads and spending time at their mountain home.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Peggy; brother-in-law, Roger Bowman; daughters, Linda Lee (Jon) Nicoles and Kari Ann Strosnider; grandson, Cody; brother, Rick (Barb) Strosnider, and Peggy’s family.

The family would like to thank Hospice, especially Deana and Kim for their help allowing Chuck to be home.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice or to your favorite cause.
