Clinton (Clint) Ray Jackson, aka ‘Flintstone,’ ‘Clintobean,’ ‘Happy Jackson,’ ‘Spud,’ ‘Big Meat,’ 51, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away March 5, 2024. A funeral mass will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church, in Glenrock, Wyoming on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 10:30am.
Clint was born in Twin Falls, Idaho to Janet (Paulette) (née Brown), and Ray Jackson. He graduated high school in Castleford, Idaho. He attended Western Montana College in Dillon, Montana, to play football and rodeo. Clint was well known across the Northwest in the rodeo community for steer wrestling, his infectious sense of humor, and social butterfly personality. He will be remembered for his love and passion for hunting, fishing, horses, leather working, as well as cheering from the sidelines of any sporting event of all the youth in his life.
Clint was a man of many passions–his family, faith, and nothing was more true to his heart than being a cowboy. His laugh was contagious and unforgettable and often came with a hard slap on the back. He was a loving and devoted husband to his best friend and wife, Tanaya Moon. Nothing made him more proud than his children, Roan Leytner and EllaBay. Clint was a loving son, brother, uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, and a loyal friend to many. Clint never met a stranger; he became fast friends with anyone who liked to chat. He loved fiercely and didn’t hesitate to tell anyone exactly how he felt about them. He was truly larger than life.
Clint is survived by his father, Ray Jackson, his wife, Tanaya Moon, his children, Roan Leytner Jackson and EllaBay Jackson, siblings, Curtis Harkins and Tina Kunkel, his numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved like his own. He was preceded in death by his mother Janet (Paulette) Jackson, his paternal grandparents, John William Evans and Lily Juanita Evans.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Louis Catholic Church in Clint’s name. P.O Box 27 Glenrock, WY 82637
