Corinna Sue Gunyan passed away peacefully on September 30, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply.
Corinna was a mother not only to her four daughters, Natosha Paden, Felecia Wooddell, Mallorie Paden-McMickell, and Samantha Rodriguez, but also to anyone who ever needed a shoulder to cry on, a kind ear to listen, or simply someone who cared. Her heart had a way of making people feel welcome and never alone.
In 2002, Corinna became a grandmother for the first time when her grandson, Caleb Ouellet, was born. Caleb quickly became her pride and joy-the son she never had. She always lovingly told him that he was her “number one boy.” In the years that followed, Corinna was blessed with nine more grandchildren, and she loved each and every one of them with her whole heart. Her grandchildren brought her immeasurable joy, and the memories she made with them will be treasured forever.
Much of Corinna’s life was spent working in the medical field, caring for others in the way that came naturally to her. Then one day, she came across an opportunity to work at The Oregon Trail Bar, and she fell in love with the place. What started as a job became a special part of her life. Along the way, she made countless friends, many of whom eventually became more like family. This was also where she met the love of her life, Klaus Conrad. Her love of the bar and the people there became so meaningful that Klaus eventually bought the bar for her.
Corinna loved being outdoors. She could often be found doing yard work and tending to her garden or simply sitting outside soaking up the sunshine. She loved to fish and loved being near the water. One of her fondest memories was taking her granddaughter Addison fishing for the first time. She also discovered a love for kayaking, and if she could have had it her way, she would have spent every day out on the water fishing and kayaking.
But more than anything else, Corinna’s greatest loves were her children and grandchildren. The time she spent with them was priceless to her. Her family was her world, and she made sure they knew how much they meant to her.
Corinna will be deeply missed by everyone whose life she touched throughout this crazy, beautiful thing we call life. She was deeply loved and will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, and the way she was always so full of life.
Though her absence leaves an ache that words cannot describe, the love she gave will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, family, friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
