Curtis Allen Hoven

November 13, 1962 — October 21, 2025

Curtis passed away at his home on the evening of Tuesday, October 21st. Born in Gillette, Wyoming, he grew up surrounded by the wide-open spaces he loved throughout his life. A proud Wyoming man, Curtis spent many years on the road as a truck driver, dedicated to his work. He was currently working for Scott’s Hot Shot.

Quiet by nature but rich in heart, Curtis was a loyal and kind man. He felt most at home in the great outdoors — hunting and fishing with his family or friends, and pool.

Family was always at the center of his world. His daughter, Rachael, was his greatest pride and joy, and he cherished every moment he spent with her. Those who knew Curtis will remember his steady presence, and the deep love he held for the people and places that shaped his life.

Curtis is survived by his wife Angie Hoven, daughter Rachael Hoven (Ryan Olson), sister-in-law Stephanie Fuller,

Brothers and sisters, Kenneth (Ella), JoAnn (Edwin) Walsh, Barbara (Steve) Snook, Darrell, Darwin, Patricia (Dave) Justice, Nancy (Henry) Taylor, Richard, Tamara Ross, Craig (Deb).

Proceeded in death by father Robert, Mother Gladys, nephew Kevin, and Ann O’Neal.

Services will be held at Grace Bible Baptist Church, 405 s Park, 12:00 on Saturday the 8th of November. Graveside and reception after services.
