Dana Ann Mackler

Dana Ann Mackler, 75, of Casper Wyoming passed away September 12, 2025 in Casper Wyoming surrounded by loving family and friend. Dana was born in Lovell, Wyoming to Herbert and Dorothy Fossen on February 19, 1950.

Dana received her GED and went to Cosmetology School in Texas. Earning her Cosmetologist License.

Dana married Lee Mackler and had their son Richard Mackler. Later on, Dana married Gary McGrady and had twins, Danny and Kenny McGrady.

Dana enjoyed spending time with family, animals, and fishing. She had a love for her bible and read passages frequently. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to her bones. Was a loyal friend and was always there with an ear to listen. She enjoyed playing pinochle, solitaire, crosswords and coloring. She made friends where ever she went and was viewed as a sweet and caring human. Her love for her dogs was outstanding and every one of them was spoiled rotten with love and care.

Dana is survived by her son Richard (Rolinda) Mackler, granddaughter Rachel (Tim) Bartsch, granddaughter Tara Legler, great grandchildren Thea and Gavin, granddaughter Heaven Mackler (Karsten White)

Danny McGrady, granddaughter Amanda (Rick) Alexander, great grandchildren Liam and Meara.

Grandson Austin McGrady great grandchildren Evangelina, Violet, and Oliver.

Kenny (Teresa) McGrady, granddaughter Tayla McGrady, great grandchildren Noah, Daniel, and Illiana. Sister Cathy Dart and brother Larry (Pat) Fossen. And many nieces and nephews and her lifelong friend Jocelyn Reed.

Dana is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Dorothy Fossen, granddaughter Dana McGrady, grandson Jake McGrady and brother Bill Fossen.

Service will be held at the Crown Hill cemetery in Powell, Wyoming at a later date.
