Dave Wise

Dave Edwin Wise, 55, passed away Sunday Nov. 1st at his home in Casper, Wyoming. He was born March 28th, 1965 in Riverton, Wyoming to Albert and Christel Wise.  He was the youngest of seven and preceded in death by his parents and four siblings.  He is survived by his two children, David Wise and Lacey Wise, their mother, Christine McLennan, his two sisters Sherlee Morris and Beverly Goddard, numerous nieces and nephews and other loved family members and lifelong friends.

Dave enlisted in the Army in 1983, where he spent time in Korea.   He then continued his military career in the Army National Guard for several more years until 1997 when he received an honorable discharge.

Dave was a hard worker, dedicated and loyal.  His family and his children were his priority and he prided himself on his ability to provide for those he loved.  His most defining characteristic was his passion.  He was passionate, the way he loved, played, worked, every aspect of his life.  He loved the outdoors and adventure, sneaking around the woods tracking wildlife and looking for grizzlies.  If you were a friend of Dave's, you had a friend for life.  He was the kind of man who would move heaven and earth if you found yourself in need of help, he would give you the shirt off his back and the last dollar in his pocket.

He had his demons as we all do, liked to drink and liked to fight.  When he was younger he could get quite rowdy, but as he grew older he learned temperance,  but he never lost that fire, the need to defend and protect.  He will be remembered dearly and the loss of him in our lives is great and he will never be forgotten.
