David Alan Naber, a beloved father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on November 1, 2025, in Casper, Wyoming, at the age of 76. Born on October 5, 1949, in Fremont, Nebraska, David was a man who lived life on his own terms, embodying the spirit of a free soul.
David's career was diverse and reflective of his versatile skills. He worked diligently as an electrician and general laborer in the transport industry, took on cannery work, and served as a delivery driver for various companies. His hands-on experience was supplemented by his dedication to education; he earned his GED while honorably serving in the Army, completing Aircraft Electrician Training during his enlistment.
His military service was a significant chapter in his life, where he proudly completed three tours with the Army. Throughout his time in service, David earned numerous medals, which were a testament to his commitment and bravery.
Beyond his professional life, David enjoyed the simple pleasures—he had a passion for good food and loved the excitement of playing lottery slot machines. His vivacious personality and zest for life touched many, and he will be fondly remembered for his playful spirit.
David is survived by his two sons, Jeremy Naber and David Brewer, a brother, Russell Naber, and three grandchildren. He now joins his father, John Elmer Naber, his mother, Dorothy Broadbent, and his brothers, Greg Naber and John Naber, in eternal rest.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate David’s life at a burial service scheduled for November 14, 2025, at 10:30 AM, at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery in Evansville, Wyoming. This gathering will honor a man who lived fully and inspired those around him.
