Dean James Dickerson, 57, of Casper, Wyoming passed away in his home on December 16, 2020. Dean was born in Sioux Falls, SD to Joyce Kunz and Lyle Dickerson.

He graduated from Washington High School (Sioux Falls, SD) in 1982. He joined the Army in 1983 as a 91B Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic and left with an Honorable discharge in 1995. His twelve-year career included tours in Germany and Oklahoma. He was deployed in Desert Storm. After his military career he worked as a mechanic and a welder. He really liked to have a good time with his friends and family. He had many nicknames; Dancing Dean, Deano, Mean Dean, just to name a few. He loved fishing, gardening, spending time with family and friends, going to his favorite watering hole, playing cards and camping. He was Patriotic and would do volunteer work for the VFW serving and fixing meals for other veterans.

He is survived by his significant other Karen Singer, Mom, Joyce Kunz, Pipestone, MN, siblings, Alan (Donna) Dickerson, Casper, WY, Cindy Dickerson, Baltic, SD, Cristy (Mike) Appel, Pipestone, MN, Troy (Joyce) Kunz, Anacortes, WA, Scott Dickerson, Coarsegold, CA, Trina (Jim) Kropenske, Mitchell, SD, Trina (Tom) Dickerson-Kirkvold, Des Moines, IA and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother, Kelly Dickerson and sister, Melissa Hammer, his dad Lyle Dickerson and step dad William Kunz Jr.
