Debra Carrillo

Debra (Dee) K. Carrillo, age 66, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 23, 2020, at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY, surrounding by her closest family. Dee was born September 4, 1954, in Durango, CO, to Tito and Patricia (Salizar) Romero. Dee married the love of her life, Gilberto Carrillo. Dee worked various jobs in restaurants and cafes, as a housekeeper in the hospital, a homemaker to herself and other families, and in telemarketing. Dee’s most enjoyable career was helping to raise her nieces and nephews. Dee had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Everyone knew Dee as a compassionate, loving person, who “took everyone in, and took care of everyone.” Dee had the ability to make anyone’s day, with her cooking and her smile. Dee is survived by her brother Kenny Romero and wife, Sue, sister Marilyn Miller and husband Matt, brother Michael Romero, numerous nieces and nephews, and all of her adopted children and grandchildren, including Corliss Miller and Declan Miller. Services will be held at a later date.
