Delbert Lewis

Duane Lewis 65, of Casper passed away June 24, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. He was born October 17, 1955 to Delbert E. Lewis and Mildred A. Lewis in Jackson, Wyoming.

He loved everything to do with his family. He also enjoyed anything to do with cars and trucks- being a mechanic, car shows, restoration, and more. He also collected coins.

Duane worked most of his life in the oilfield in one form or another as he began at a young age with his father up to his retirement in 2021.

He is survived by his wife Malynda Lewis of Casper. Three Daughters; Tulene Ruger and husband Marty of Gillette, Marinia Norris and Husband Kevin of Virginia, Linda Lewis of Casper. Four sisters; Bonnie Matlock of Rock Springs, Ann Lewis of Portland, Wanda Williams of Rock Springs, Romae Eikanger of Rock Springs. One brother; David Willoughby and wife Lynda of Daniel. Seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. Five bonus children, many bonus grandchildren. One aunt, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother “Smokey”, maternal and paternal grandparents, his father Delbert D. Lewis, his mother Mildred A. Lewis, sister Adel Mudge, nephew Zach Eikanger, and wife of 23 loving years Susan M. Crider-Lewis.

The memorial service for Duane is 11:00am Thursday July 1, 2021 at Bustard and Jacoby Funeral Home 600 CY Avenue Casper, Wyoming.  Arrangements are entrusted to Jacoby and Bustard Funeral Home.
