It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our brother Donnie Lee (Butch) Bower, 62, who passed away on October 23, 2026 in Casper, Wyoming following a short battle with cancer.

Donnie Lee (Butch) Bower was born March 14, 1964 to Robert Bower of Burwell and Kathleen Graul in Ord, Nebraska. Donnie moved to Wyoming with his family in 1978. He attended Dean Morgan Junior High and Natrona County High School. Donnie had many interests and was a hard worker. After high school he worked as a mechanic at Texaco and he worked a little in construction. He has spent the last forty-two years in the roofing business. The last fourteen were with Summit Roofing where he was the foreman.

Butch was born with a great sense of humor. He was always trying to make everyone smile and would entertain friends and family with daily jokes and quips. He cared so deeply for his family and friends, he just wanted them to be happy. He loved music and could play the drums, guitar and was a phenomenal trumpet player. He had a passion for big engines, fast cars, boats and his beloved Kansas City Chiefs. He loved his “lake life” with friends at Blue Mesa Reservoir in Western Colorado. Butch was always there to answer the call from his little brothers and sisters when they needed help. Butch was smart, tough and a bit stubborn. The people around him appreciated him for who he was. The family will miss him greatly at get togethers and holidays but he will never be forgotten.

Donnie is survived by his children Cody Bower Paducah, KY, Shauna Bower Casper, WY, Kristina Marino(Tony) Gallatin, TN. and Stephen Bower(Christina) Mukilteo, WA. His nine siblings Bud Bower, Arcadia.NE., Connie Freeman Austin.CO., Sue McCreary(Mike) Casper, WY, Johnny John Joe Bower (Michelle) Las Vegas, NV, Robert Bower Jr.(Dawn)Omaha, NE., Rick Bower (Jennifer) Muscatine, IA, Nicole Sybrant (Grant) Casper, WY, Mike Bower Casper, WY and Randy Bower (Jennie) Casper,WY. His grandchildren Aliah Hult, Eric Hult, Aspen Bower, Meredith Marino, Jacob Bower, Laynne Bower and many nieces and nephews. Butch also raised two other children Ashley Lathrop Fruita CO and Anthony Wolfe and his Step mother Judy Bower Casper, WY.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Bower and Kathy Graul, brother Bobby and his grandparents Joe and Mary Bower.

Services will be a small family ceremony at a later date, per his wishes.
