Douglas Fleetwood

Douglas Ray Fleetwood passed away at his home in Casper on November 8, 2019 after a lengthy illness.  Doug was born on July 13, 1956 in North Platte, Nebraska.

He joined the US Navy in July 1974 and retired in July 1994 as a Senior Chief. He started his training in Orlando, FL. He served aboard three submarines.  They were the USS Will Rogers - New  London, CT and the USS Georgia - Bangor, WA and the USS Alaska - Bangor, WA.  He attended many schools and training facilities, which included two of his favorites. They were the Naval Ordinance Test Unit - Cape Canaveral, FL and the Naval Senior Enlisted Academy - Newport, RI.

He is survived by his wife, Sonja and son, William.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jean and Thelma Fleetwood.
