Elizabeth Kennedy

Elizabeth (Betty) Kennedy, age 94, passed on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Sheridan Manor. Elizabeth was born October 23, 1915 to James and Harriette (Clark) Flowers in Thedford, Nebraska. After graduating high school, she studied for her teaching degree in Nebraska. Elizabeth married O.H. Kennedy on December 21, 1940, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. They had three sons. She enjoyed crocheting and travel and loved her family and friends. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, a son David and two grandsons. She is survived by her son Joe (Jean) Kennedy of Sheridan and Bruce of Casper, Wyoming. Two sisters, Loretha Hitchcock of Washington and Helen Emig of Iowa. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Bustard's Funeral Home in Casper, Wyoming at 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Sunday, May 16, 2010 and Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, May 17, 2010 at Bustard's Funeral Home.
