Evelyn Ennis

Evelyn Joy Ennis was born March 21, 1929 in Meade, Kansas to Isaac and Helen (Reimer) Rempel. Evelyn went to be with waiting family July 2, 2010 after a very short bout with cancer. She was married to Joseph Edwin Ennis on September 26, 1951. They had five children, Cynthia Norman of Ferndale, MI, Gary (Blake) of Canandaigua, NY, Loren (Laurel) of Denver, CO, Rita Long of Casper and Robert (Kim) of Thermopolis. She had 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, one brother Vernon (Ivela) Rempel, Denver and two sisters Karen (Paul) Davis, Great Bend, KS and Kathy (John) Dahmer, Castle Rock, CO and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, two brothers, Abe and Randal and one sister Mary. Services will be held at the First Assembly of God Church at 6:00 PM, Thursday, August 5, 2010. Visitation will be at Bustard's Funeral Home, 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Thursday, August 5, 2010. Interment will be at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery.
