God released Casper resident Fenton Gabriel Parke from health struggles due to muscular dystrophy and heart disease on October 4, 2025. He was born October 13, 1975 in Casper, WY to Fenton E. Parke and Barbara Jean Cardwell Parke. He was raised in Casper, with some years in Gillette, WY as well. He was a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church. His work history included fifteen years at Old Chicago, of which he was very proud. He had most recently been a resident at the All About Family facilities.

Fenton enjoyed simple pleasures, such as socializing and frequent phone calls with friends and family. He would memorize roles from movies such as Smokey and the Bandit and Coal Miner’s Daughter. He was very proud of his father’s military service. He was very interested in semi trucks and large construction equipment and vehicles. He looked forward to all holiday celebrations and family events, especially treasuring photo albums and family history. He cared and remembered everyone in his life.

Fenton was preceded in death by: his parents; grandparents Ted Junior Cardwell and Caroline Lochner Cardwell Morehouse; grandparents Fenton Ralph Parke and Dorothy Lee Beckemeyer Parke; uncle Dan Parke and several other uncles, aunts, and cousins who were part of his extended family.

He is survived by his uncle Ted James Cardwell, his aunt Lois Parke, step-grandfather Darrell Morehouse, and many cousins in Wyoming, Utah and other western states, and Minnesota.

A service celebrating Fenton’s life is set for Friday, October 17 at at 2:30 pm at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Matney officiating. A reception will follow at Calvary Baptist Church on Conwell. Bustard’s funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or an organization of the donor’s choice.
