d. April 11, 2010

Gary Carl Lensert, 70, of Casper, was born on February 11, 1940 in Milwaukee, WI to Fred and Grace Lensert. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and faithful servant to many. He went to live with his Savior, Jesus on April 11, 2010, after a 1 year battle with cancer. Services will be held at a later date at Oregon Trail Veteran's Cemetery. Gary served in the Army, Armored Tank Division and was stationed in Germany. He was honorably discharged on January 31, 1964. He was employed as a fish hatchery foreman for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for 24 years. One of his many talents and gifts from God was designing and building homes. Many were impacted by his strong faith in God and zest for life. His humor was legendary. He and the love of his life, Linda, enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, hunting, gardening, cycling, and playing with grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was survived by his wife of 27 years Linda , his brother Dale Lensert and his wife Gayle of Tomahawk, WI; 4 children: daughter, Kim (Lensert) and Steve Wajda of China, son Guy and Dawn Lensert of Casper, daughter, Jodi (Lensert) and Randy Rolloff of Minnesota, daughter Aimee Yous of Minnesota; grandchildren: Garett, Stephanie, Greg Lensert, Grace Rolloff, Amariah and Mia Wajda, Nicole and Brandon Montero; two nephews: Kevin and Kurt Lensert; one niece: Kerrie Gadeke.
