Glen Irvin Eubanks Jr

Glen Irvin Eubanks, Jr., 89, died July 31, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona, surrounded by family, after several years of failing health and a courageous battle.

Glen was born in Canon City, Colorado, to Glen Irvin, Sr. and Dorothy Makin Eubanks on July 12, 1937.

Glen was raised in Canon City. During his childhood and high school years, Glen worked at his parents’ restaurant in Canon City, THE RANCH HOUSE, and learned his great work ethic of hard work and honesty. Glen also worked at the family guest ranch near Ft. Collins, Colorado, Trails End and loved his wrangling adventures with their family guests.

Glen graduated from Canon City High School in 1956. He married Judy Helmick, his high school sweetheart, in 1956, and they moved to Casper, Wyoming. They had two wonderful children, Julie Anne and Christopher Jay. They later divorced.

In 1979, Glen married Anne Robbins in Casper. Their life together for 47 years was a life filled with an everlasting love, happiness, and devotion to each other.

In 1956, Glen started working for Mobil Refinery in Casper until 1964. He then began his lifelong career with Nalco Chemical Company. Glen started a “one-man show.” That first Nalco plant was a small facility at the Casper Airport that grew with Glen’s leadership. In 1981, Glen, as Plant Manager, supervised the construction of the now Evansville facility, Nalco Chemical Plant, which remains in operation today. Glen retired from Nalco in December 1998. While working, he was involved with United Way and Meals on Wheels for many years.

After retirement, Glen and Anne purchased a motorhome and traveled from coast to coast. In 2002, they moved to Tucson for year-round golf and a closer proximity to family. Family visits were abundant and loved by Glen.

For many years, Glen enjoyed golf in both Casper and Tucson. After retirement, 100 rounds of golf per year and shooting his age were routine. Tucson was a wonderful place to retire, but Casper was always home.

Glen will be remembered for his meticulous manner and for being a devoted father, husband, grandpa, and friend! His sense of humor, laughter, honesty, dependability, and unbelievable love and support for his family will never be forgotten.

SERVICE DETAILS

A Celebration of Life for Glen will be held on Friday, August 28th at 11:00 AM at the 1st United Methodist Church with Senior Pastor Daniel Odell officiating.

Services will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by a lunch gathering for all family and friends at the Casper Country Club immediately following the service.

SURVIVORS & FAMILY

Survivors include his wife Anne of 47 years; daughter Julie Bennink (Dennis), San Diego, CA; son Christopher Eubanks (Diane), Nashville; grandchildren Cydney, Tanner, Mackenzie, Shelby, and Lindsey; step-grandchildren Jason Bennink, Justin Bennink (Cait), and Jennifer Ziegelbauer (Mike); 5 great-grandchildren Enzo, Sloan, Ronan, Penelope, and Amara; two brothers James Eubanks and Jerry Eubanks; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Glen Irvin Eubanks, Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Glen Irvin Eubanks, Sr. and Dorothy Eubanks; his younger sister, Dorothy Jeanne Rhodes; and his father- and mother-in-law, Ray and Betty Robbins.
