Gregory Strauch

Gregory Eugene (Greg) Strauch, 70 , of Hanna, Wyoming, passed away on Tuesday, September 28th 2021 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper.

Greg was born in Pontiac, Illinois to Harold and Mary Lavonne Strauch on November 14, 1950. He graduated from Roanoke-Benson High. He went on to honorably serve as a Scout Dog Handler in the Vietnam War. He worked various jobs and professions throughout the years, but ultimately retired from the Wyoming State Penitentiary as a Corrections Officer. He enjoyed fishing, sport shooting, camping, woodworking, motorcycle riding, and traveling to visit friends and family.

Greg is survived by his 2 daughters Samantha Sydow and Shannon Adams, and 2 sisters Mary Kearfott and Juanita Ahrens. As well as 6 grandchildren Blake, Cody, Morgan, Sydney, Austin, and Ryley and many nieces and nephews whom he also adored. He is preceded in death by his father, Harold mother, Lavonne and daughter, Casey Strauch.

Celebration of life  plans are still pending. His daughters Samantha and Shannon will be updating everyone as plans are finalized. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Greg’s name to your favorite Veterans or Military Charity.
