Harvey H. Kimmel

Harvey Houston Kimmel, 82, of Casper, WY passed away peacefully Fri. Oct. 6, 2023, at his residence. He was born Dec. 18, 1940, in Grand Junction, CO to parents, Irene E. (Tabor) and Donald D. Kimmel.

He had worked for many years at the Federal American Partners Uranium Mill in Gas Hills, WY. He married Elizabeth “Liddy” Armentrout in 1969. They later divorced in 1980.

In 1981, when the mill shut down, Harvey moved to Casper and began working as a truck driver. He continued in this profession until his retirement.

Survivors include his daughter, Susan A. (Terry) Apel of Evansville, WY; grandchildren, Robert and Kevin Apel of Casper, WY; sisters, Andrea Ice of Swanton, OH and Donna Sutherland of Silt, CO; aunt, Neva Childers of Ranier, OR; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
