Jamie Lou Robert, beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on October 16, 2025, in her hometown of Casper, Wyoming, at the age of 73. Born on August 2, 1952, Jamie was a lifelong resident of the community she cherished deeply.
Jamie began her educational journey at Natrona County High School, where she laid the foundation for a remarkable career. She earned an associate's degree, which helped her thrive in her professional life. For 30 years, Jamie dedicated herself to the Internal Revenue Service, where her commitment and work ethic left a lasting impact on her colleagues and the organization.
In addition to her career, Jamie proudly served her country in the United States Navy, achieving the rank of YN3. Her service exemplified her dedication not only to her nation but also to the values she held dear throughout her life.
Her faith played a significant role in her life, bringing her joy and a sense of purpose. Friends and family will remember Jamie for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support of those around her.
Jamie is survived by her son, James Robert (Kris Cox), along with various nieces and nephews who brought her much happiness as they grew and flourished. She also leaves behind a close friend, Loretta Miller, who shared in her life’s journey, offering companionship and support.
In her passing, she is reunited with her parents, Betty Lou Fetter and James Russell Paxton, and her beloved sisters, Pam and Vonnie. Their memories will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
A memorial service to honor Jamie Lou Robert will be held on November 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Mountain View Baptist Church, located at 4250 Poison Spider Rd, Mills, WY 82604. Family and friends are welcome to gather to celebrate her remarkable life and the legacy she has left behind.
