Janet Lee Hooper

October 27, 1948 — October 6, 2025

JANET HOOPER 10/27/1948 to 10/06/2025 On October 6, 2025. The strongest person in the World finally lost her battle. When God called her home she was surrounded by those who loved her dearly. All of there to hold her hand. Just as she has done so many times with each of us. Her love was the most amazing thing in the World, and when she loved you, you never had to question how much. You could feel it in her heart and in her smile. She was born in Centerville, IA. to Jay and Juanita Main. During her Highschool years the family moved to Douglas, WY. It was in Douglas that she met the father of her two children, David and Georgia (Gena). She was the most amazing mother that would n do anything for her children. Her love truly was an amazing gift. There was never a time growing up that we didn't have Christmas or Birthday presents. She wanted those days to be special for us. To this day, I don't know how she did it. If she didn't have it. We never knew it. Everything was always just there when it needed to be. She eventually moved to Casper, WY. where she worked as a hair dresser, raised her children and met her future husband, Howard Hooper and stepdaughter, Angela. Tragically, in 1999 her Son passed away. He left behind a wife, Shelley LeBlanc. Four children, Amanda Lucy, Johnny LeBlanc, Cody LeBlanc, DeShā LeBlanc, and 10 grandchildren. Besides David, she was also preceded in death by her Mother and Father, a nephew, her husband, Howard and a Daughter-in-law (Lisa). She was survived by her Stepdaughter, Angela. Her husband and their two children who all live in Connecticut. She was also survived by her Daughter, Georgia (Gena) LeBlanc, her wife, Ariana. Two Grandson's, Xavier Kientz, Xylon Kientz and his fiance, McKenna Ferraioulo. All of Casper, WY. She was the first of the four sisters to go to Heaven. She left behind two older sisters, Marie Bramson and Dixie Shaw, and a younger sister, Jane Davison. Each one of her nieces and nephews she loved as her own. Kimmie, Dan, Paul, Bobby, Billie Jo, Richard, Misty, Stephanie, Stacie, and Jacque. Everytime she would mention your names she would light up with joy. She was very adamant about not wanting a viewing or funeral. She requested to be buried with her husband and a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
