Jeffery Charles Patterson

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jeffery “Cool” Charles Patterson, who left us on July 22, 2025. Born in Riverton, Wyoming, on April 25, 1961, Jeff's journey through life took him across several states—including Washington, Indiana, Arizona, and throughout Wyoming—before he eventually made his home in Casper with the family he cherished.

Jeff wore many hats in his lifetime: a devoted husband, proud father and grandfather, loyal brother, loving son, trusted friend, and inspiring coach. He was someone you could always count on—steady, generous, and full of heart.

An avid outdoorsman in his younger years, Jeff lived for adventure. He had a passion for sports and could often be found playing baseball, basketball, or football. He also loved bowhunting, fishing, water skiing, riding dirt bikes, shooting guns, and camping—always embracing life to the fullest.

In 1989, Jeff met the love of his life, Julie. From that moment on, they were inseparable, building a beautiful life and family together. Between them, they shared eight children and 13 grandchildren—each one a source of pride and joy for Jeff. Family was truly everything to him.

Jeff is survived by his children: Michael, Craig, Ricky, Alex, Scottie, Shannel, Sheree, and Shelby; his beloved grandchildren:

Alexis, Gage, Jordyn, Cayden, Berkley, Adelyn, Chance, Juliette, Treysan, Gannon, Haylie, Kinley, and RyeLynn; and his brothers Tom and Paul.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Marilyn, and by his beloved wife, Julie. While our hearts ache in his absence, we find comfort in knowing he is now reunited with his soulmate.

A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on August 2nd from 11-3, located at 233 Sunflower, Casper, Wyoming. All who knew and loved him are welcome.

Rest in Peace, Jeff. He was everybody's best friend.
