Jessica Anderson

April 17, 1979 — January 3, 2025

Jessica Johanna Robin Braat Anderson was born in Montreal, Canada on April 17, 1979. She was born to Christianus-Wilhelmus Maria Braat and Johanna Cornelia Braat Braaksma. At age 18 months, they moved to the United States of America. She lived in Palatine, Illinois for 7 years with her parents and sister Elizabeth. Then moved to Simi Valley, California in 1987. In 1996 she gave birth to her daughter Sabrina Kalee Sunshine Stone. Jessica graduated highschool and worked 3 jobs to make ends meet. In 2002 she moved with Sabrina to Casper, Wyoming to start a new life while pregnant with Ashlee. They moved into their home on Melrose St. and she worked hard to support her girls. Then Jessica met the love of her life, Billy Anderson and got married to him on 08-08-08. She passed away very unexpectedly on January 3, 2025 due to a blood clot in the heart.

Jessica is preceded in death by her father Christianus Braat. She is survived by her husband Billy Anderson; her daughters, Sabrina Stone and Ashlee Braat; grandkids from Sabrina Stone; Bellatrix, Kemi, Alexander, Alyss, and Hela; her mother, Johanna McAtee; step dad, Dave McAtee; sister, Elizabeth Fortuna; brother in-law, John Fortuna; nieces, Nicholette Williams, Kiersten Fortuna, and Hannah Fortuna. She is also survived by her step brother, Travis McAtee; step sister in-law, Rebel McAtee; nephew, Torin McAtee; niece, Emery McAtee; step sister Traci McAtee; step brother in-law, John Oconnell; nephew, Riley Oconnell; and nephew, Ryder Oconnell; father in-law, Jim Anderson; mother in-law, Pauline Anderson; and step father in-law, Carl Roybal. Lastly, she was survived by all of her dearly beloved cats, who miss her greatly.

Jessica always supported her kids in whatever they were passionate about whether that be art, cooking, sports, or academics. She made them feel loved and special for the time they got with her. Jessica had big dreams and big plans: a non-profit cat sanctuary, bountiful gardens, gorgeous house, and much more. Over her 45 years of life, she acquired a great deal of wisdom that she passed on to her children. Jessica was an amazing cook, passionate animal-lover, and resourceful woman. She will forever be missed and cherished by the ones she loved.
