Jessica Anderson

Jessica Johanna Robin Braat Anderson was born in Montreal, Canada on April 17, 1979. She was born to Christianus-Wilhelmus Maria Braat and Johanna Cornelia Braat Braaksma. At age 18 months, they moved to the United States of America. She lived in Palatine, Illinois for 7 years with her parents and sister Elizabeth. Then moved to Simi Valley, California in 1987. In 1996 she gave birth to her daughter Sabrina Kalee Sunshine Stone. Jessica graduated highschool and worked 3 jobs to make ends meet. In 2002 she moved with Sabrina to Casper, Wyoming to start a new life while pregnant with Ashlee. They moved into their home on Melrose St. and she worked hard to support her girls. Then Jessica met the love of her life, Billy Anderson and got married to him on 08-08-08. She passed away very unexpectedly on January 3, 2025 due to a blood clot in the heart. Preceded in death by her father Christianus Braat. Survived by her husband Billy Anderson as well as her daughters, Sabrina Stone and Ashlee Braat. In addition, survived by her grandkids from Sabrina Stone: Bellatrix, Kemi, Alexander, Alyss, and Hela. As well, survived by her mother Johanna McAtee and step dad Dave McAtee. She also survived her sister Elizabeth Fortuna, Brother in-law John Fortuna, and nieces Nicholette Williams, Kiersten Fortuna, and Hannah Fortuna. Furthermore, she survived her step brother Travis McAtee, step sister in-law Rebel McAtee, nephew Torin McAtee, and niece Emery McAtee. She survived her step sister Traci McAtee, step brother in-law John Oconnell, nephew Riley Oconnell, and nephew Ryder Oconnell. Adding to this, she survived her father in-law Jim Anderson As well as mother in-law Pauline Anderson and step father in-law Carl Roybal. Lastly, she was survived by all of her dearly beloved cats who miss her greatly. Jessica always supported her kids in whatever they were passionate about whether that be art, cooking, sports, or academics. She made them feel loved and special for the time they got with her. Jessica had big dreams and big plans: a non-profit cat sanctuary, bountiful gardens, gorgeous house, and much more. Over her 45 years of life, she acquired a great deal of wisdom that she passed on to her children. Jessica was an amazing cook, passionate animal-lover, and resourceful woman. She will forever be missed and cherished by the ones she loved.
