JoAnn Murphy lost her health battles and went home to the lord on Sunday September 5, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Evidently, God needed another great cook and a wonderful friend. JoAnn along with her family are the owners of the Cheese Barrel restaurant indowntown Casper since 1986. She was born on May 31, 1934 in Cody,Wyoming to John and Lutie (Cash) Barham and met her husband Merlin in Thermopolis, Wyoming. They married in Rawlins, Wyoming on August 15, 1952. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Myrna and life partner Angeles Morales of Bar Nunn; Debbie Doak (Robert) of Rock Springs, Wyoming and BarbaraPepper (Mark) of Bar Nunn, 4 grandchildren; Brett (Laura) and Greg (Rhiannon) Doak, Jenny (Doak) Armstrong (David) and Kiana Pepper as well as 8 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, John (Elva) Barham from Glenrock, Wyoming, Larry (Donna) Barham from Woodland California and surviving sister-in-law Carolann Barham of Thermopolis, Wyoming. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity or house of worship. The family wishes to thank the medical staffs at Wyoming Medical Center. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday September 11, 2010 at Bustard's Funeral Home 600 CY Avenue, Casper, Wyoming.
