Born in Edgerton, WI to Rose Pratt and James Barry. I have a twin sister who I loved to tease about being four minutes behind me. I have had parents, foster parents and adopted parents. There are many children and grandchildren along with brothers and sisters. He loved everyone of his close family.

Joe was a nomad at heart. There were a few years of music and performing. He loved to travel and talked with whomever would take the time to talk with him. He always had a head set on, those who saw Joe would swear that headset was permanently attached. He drove semi from one end to the other of these United States.

Joe would do any job to support his family. He was so happy when he got to see children and grandchildren in Nebraska at the beginning of January. He had many friends he loved to talk with and meant much to him.
