Jonathan Maddux

August 16, 2018 — August 19, 2018

Jonathan Tobias Maddux flew to Jesus on August 19, 2018 after four days with his family on earth. Jonathan was born at 11:10 am on August 16, 2018, shortly followed by his twin brother, David at 11:14 am, at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Jonathan is the son of Josh and Anna Maddux of Casper, Wyoming. He is survived by four siblings, Peyten, Caleb, Anthony, and David. He is preceded in death by his brother, Isaiah, cousins, Tivian and Jesse, and Uncle Jerry. His paternal grandparents are Tana Maddux of Casper, Wyoming and Jerry Maddux, Jr. of Kingwood, Texas. His maternal grandparents are Dale and Wendy Petefish of Walden, Colorado. During his brief time on earth, Jonathan fought valiantly alongside the NICU team at PSL against kidneys, lungs, and a bladder that didn't properly develop in utero. He was a joy to his family, an answer to prayer, and brought many people together in his short life in and outside of the womb. He spent the last moments of his life with his family, being held, sung to, cherished, and told he was loved. He will remain in the hearts of his family until they are reunited in Heaven. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, 1800 S. Conwell, Casper, Wyoming, with a reception following. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery. Charitable donations in honor of Jonathan can be given to Calvary Academy, 1800 S. Conwell, Casper, WY 82601 or 307-266-5417.
