Keith Craig Jones

Keith Craig Jones, 61, of Mills, Wy, passed away on February 6, 2026 at Banner Medical Center in Casper.

Keith was born in Alexandria, Virginia to Leonard and Ruth Jones. He went to high school at Natrona County High School and graduated in 1983. He worked at Little Big Man’s Pizza with the love of his life, Kae. They married on January 19, 1985 and lived in married joy until his death.

He was an incredible man that did so much for his family and community. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Mills Fire Department, ending his career there after 24 years. He was a firefighter for the Natrona County Fire Department, worked as a welder for WOTCO and at the time of his death he worked for Mesa Solutions in procurement.

He enjoyed many hobbies and activities in his life, hunting, fishing, muzzleloading, staying at the cabin in the bighorns, teaching his grandchildren many kinds of fun things, creating art with antlers and his Dremel tool, playing many different card and dice games, reading, and watching movies. He and Kae played the King and Queen at the Stage III Casper Renaissance Festival for 5 years. His very favorite time of year was Christmas, when he would don his Santa costume for children and parties.

He was a quiet man with a deep voice that resonated with all the kindness in the world, as long as he loved you. If he didn’t, he was never rude, he simply ignored you. He was the very best daddy/father/dad to ALL of his kids, and the most amazing papa to his grandkids, whether you were blood or not. So many people called him dad, and he always had a smile for those that did.

Keith is survived by his wife, Kae, children Lena (Jeff) Jones-Bartling, Zeb (Stacey) Jones and Jeremiah Jones, parents Leonard and Ruth Jones, brothers Chip Jones and David (Amy) Jones, sisters in law Donna Kennedy, Eileen (Verlin) Decker and Raeleen (Teno) Montoya, and grandchildren Teague and Avalinn Cotton, Clayton Simmons, Clacie (Cole) Robertson, and Liam Jones. He has numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and so many friends. He was predeceased by his father and mother in law Pat and Eileen Kennedy, brother in law, Pat Kennedy and sister Sherry Dove.

A viewing will be held at Bustard’s Funeral home on Friday February 13, 2026 from 4-7pm. His wake will be held at the Casper Shrine Club on Saturday February 21, 2026 from 5pm until we must say goodnight.
