November 8, 1949 — January 29, 2024

Kenneth Lloyd Hasbrouck, age 74, passed away on January 29, 2024, surrounded by loved ones after his battle with cancer. He was born in North Platte, Nebraska on November 8, 1949, to Kenneth Tub Hasbrouck and Esther (Trembly) Houck.

In his formative years, he attended North Platte schools and later earned his GED during bootcamp.

He joined the Army in 1969 and deployed to Vietnam in October where he spent three years serving his country. After being honorably discharged in 1972, he married Neva Evans in April 1974. To this union, two children were born, a son Ryan, and a daughter Kenna.

In his younger years, Kenny delivered newspapers in North Platte and in 1972 he moved to Wyoming and began his career in the oilfield.

He enjoyed any time spent with family and friends. Kenny particularly enjoyed watching his son race modified stock cars, watching his family play softball and baseball, and camping. Above all, he loved to spend time hunting and watching his grandsons play hockey.

Kenny is survived by his four children Belle, his silver lab, son Ryan, and daughters Kenna and Michelle; grandchildren, Joshua (Pauby), Shelby, Tyler (Johanna), Haylie, and Brandon; great-grandchildren Emmalynne, Savannah, and Colson; as well as many sisters, brother in laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Neva; father Kenneth; mother, Esther; stepfather, Glen; sister CarolAnn; and numerous other family and friends.
