Linda Louise Struck

August 2, 1948 — January 23, 2026

Linda Louise Struck (Lewin), age 77, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23rd, in Casper, Wyoming.

Linda was born on August 2, 1948, in Casper, Wyoming, to Walter Edwin Lewin and Norma Jean Stark. She graduated from Natrona County High School in 1966 and later earned her bachelor’s degree from Casper College.

A woman of remarkable strength and independence, Linda worked in many trades throughout her life. Some of her favorite roles included being a Camp Cook for hunting excursions, a Commercial Truck Driver at a time when few women entered the profession, and a School Bus Driver. She was never afraid of hard work and lived life on her own terms.

Linda had a deep love for the outdoors and wildlife, especially bears. She found joy tending to her gardens and plants and felt most alive when surrounded by nature. She also adored her two beloved kittens, Karma and Velvet, and generously supported animal charities throughout her life.

She is survived by her four children, Davina Mikels, Robert Hauck, Andy Hauck, and Moriah Struck. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Sarah LaFerrara, Adam Dale, Noelle Kron, Brody Struck, and Samuel Struck, and seven great-grandchildren, Kaecen Paden, Kohden Paden, Milana LaFerrara, Rocco LaFerrara, Michael LaFerrara, Aiden Dale, and Greyson Dale. She is further survived by her beloved cousin, Mike Damours, with whom she shared a special bond, as well as her cousin, Constance Tyler.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Edwin Lewin and Norma Jean Stark, her sisters, Cathryn Prickett and Elaine Lewin, her beloved son Heath Adam, with whom she is now reunited, and her favorite aunt, Dody Damours.

True to her fiercely independent spirit, Linda lovingly cared for and maintained her beautiful Montana home until the age of 76, taking great pride in its upkeep. After a sudden medical emergency that nearly took her life, her neighbor and best friend, Brittney Heskett, found her in time and saved her life. Through God’s grace, Linda was given another year, allowing her to return home and spend her final year surrounded by her loved ones and family. That time together became a deeply cherished gift.

Linda loved Homestead Rescue, Elvis, Bigfoot, and the color purple. She had many grandchildren both by blood and by bond and welcomed them all with equal love. She held a special place in her heart for her longtime Montana neighbors, Brittney and Devin Heskett, and their three children Chassity, Jaycee and Wyatt.

To her grandchildren, she was a silly and sweet grandma who always made them laugh. She will be remembered for her strength, independence, kindness, and the immense love she gave so freely.

No funeral service will be held at this time. A memorial celebration of Linda’s life will be held in early summer. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a local animal shelter or a bear conservation organization in her honor.

Linda will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
