Lori Howsden

Lori returned to God on December 13th 2020, at Memorial Hospital of Converse County who we can’t thank enough for the amazing care she received there. Lori fought hard to the very last. Lori left behind her husband of 28 years William Howsden and four wonderful children.

Lori was born on February 23 1963, she was the daughter of Warren and Doris Long; she was born in Livingston Montana. Lori was preceded in death by her parents Warren and Doris Long and her brother Kennith.

Lori was a very proud Mother of four children; Nicole Hodges (KC), Courtney Salo (Matt), Ryan Howsden (Britney), and Haylee Howsden (Dakota), and 7 grand-children Kaden, Jersey, Kacey, Bentley, Trinity, Madalyn, Harper. Lori was also the mother to many of our children's friends as she took on the roll to many, Katie, Colton (Son Joseph), Bobby, Ashley, Mackenzie, among many others as this list is long.

Lori cared for her parents until their deaths. Lori followed her mother in death by just three days. Lori was the sister of Donald Wick, Donna Schrimer (Bill), Kennith Wick, Barbra Conahan, Rick Long (Deb) Terri Ortega, Warren JR (Skeeter), and Mike Long.

Lori loved her family and would do anything for them. She taught our children how to love life and above all have fun. Lori also instilled the don’t judge a book by its cover as well as never leave a conversation without a love you bye.  Lori was a prankster but also the one who kept our children in line (most of the time). Lori was a giving soul and one that would share what little we had with those worse off than us at the drop of hat.

Lori will be sorely missed by all who knew her. And will be remembered for her “Love you guys” and her famous laugh.

We will be holding a service at a later date when COVID allows.

Rest in peace my wife, best friend, and partner in life. Know we all love you to the moon and back and infinity and beyond and forever.
