                Steve passed away at his home September 28th, 2023. He was the first born to Louis and MaryAnn Parke July 19,1953 in Casper, Wyoming. He was followed by three brothers, Paul, Kevin, Randy and two Sisters, Tammy and Julie. His mom later re married and had two other sons, Jack and Jason along with step sons Robert and Russell and step daughter Rene.

All of Steve’s schooling was done in Casper. He attended Grant and Jefferson Elementary, Dean Morgan Jr high and Kelly Walsh High School. In his younger years he was involved in boy scouts which eventually helped grow his love for fishing ang hunting.

In his teen years Steve worked at the A&W and Village Inn as a cook. He met his future wife Judy Smithers through his sister Tammy. They married March 18, 1978 in a small Ceremony in Glenrock Wyoming. They later had two children, Jefferson and Amanda. He opened his own Archery Business, Muddy Mountain Archery and was also employed for 21 years by Black Hills Bentonite as a Plant Operator.

After his Divorce to Judy in 1999 he moved to Santa Maria California. There he worked at TJ Max and a homeless Shelter as a house supervisor.

Around 2016 he decided to retire and come home to Casper to be closer to family. He ran his own Rock/Jewelry online business to keep him busy. In retirement he enjoyed going rock hunting, cabbing rocks, creating jewelry and fishing.

He is survived by his son Jefferson (Tessa) Parke and daughter Amanda (Jason) Baxter. His four grandsons Jackson, Connor, Kingston and Kai. As well as his siblings Paul (Ellen) Parke, Julie Atack, Kevin Parke, Tammy Parke, Jack Jr. (Tresa) Weisz, Jason (Tamera) Weisz and Robert (Debbie) Weisz, Russell Weisz and Rene McMenomy; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Parke and MaryAnne Parke- Weisz; step father Jack Sr. Weisz; parental and maternal Grandparents and Brother Randall (Merry) Parke.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Eagles Club, 306 N Durbin Casper WY Nov 19th 1pm-6pm

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial tributes be directed to Steve’s funeral fund to assist with the cremation expense at Bustard & Jacoby funeral home in Casper 307(234-7123).
