Manuel Sosa

Manuel M. Sosa Sr., 72 formerly of Casper joined his loving wife and Jesus on April 15, 2010 in Wichita, KS. A Rosary will be held Friday April 23, 2010 at St. Anthony's at 1:30 PM and the funeral services will follow at 2 PM. Manuel was born December 10, 1937 in Brownsville, TX to Encaracion and Petra Sosa. Manuel met his wife Guadalupe Hernandez working the potato fields in Idaho. They then married a couple of months later. Manuel and his family followed the crops throughout Texas before coming to Worland, WY. Upon moving to Casper, Manuel worked for Rocky Mountain Packing. Later he worked for a railroad company for two years. After that Manuel attended school for upholstery. Upon finishing he started working for Fisher Body Shop. Then in 1965 he started Manuel's Auto Upholstery. Manuel had his business for 40 years until he retired in 2007. After retiring Manuel was moved to Cullman, AL by Ezra and Allen. Manuel helped all in need however he could. Manuel loved his dog, Pepe. Manuel will be missed by all. Especially, how he cared, his personality, and his smile that could brighten your saddest day. Manuel was preceded in death by his wife Guadalupe Sosa, his mother and father Petra and Encarnacion Sosa. Survived by his children: Manuel Jr., Maria, Fred, Frank, Rick, Sonia, Gilbert, Ezra and numerous grandchildren.
