Michael Thornton

Services for Michael K. Thornton will be held at the LDS Church in Green River, Wyoming at Hillcrest and Trona, on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Michael Kay Thornton, 55, died August 26, 2010 at Wyoming Medical Center, Casper Wy. He was born March 11, 1955 the son of William J. and Betty L (Phillips) Thornton in American Fork, Utah. Michael graduated from American Fork High School went on to marry Vickie Lee Johnson (deceased) of Lehi, Ut. He later remarried Shawna Calloway of Green River, Wy. He was an avid hunter that loved the outdoors. In his early career he was a trona miner and later established a successful roofing company. He will be missed. He is survived by his parents, three brothers, John "Jackie", Terry Lynn & Ronald Jay, six sisters Karma Cook, Linda Street, Rosemarie Williams, Kathleen Thomson, Cheryl Harris, Kimberly Buhler, his four sons, Christopher, Jason, Steven, William and nine grandchildren. Cremation has been held under the direction of Bustard's Funeral Home.
