Miguel Angel Rocha

Miguel Angel Rocha, age 38, passed away on the evening of Monday, May 20^th, 2024, at Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming.

  Miguel was born in Los Angeles, California to Maria Elena Verdin and E. Rocha on December 1^st, 1985. Miguel graduated from Azusa High School in 2003. A few years later, in February 2007, Miguel and his family relocated to Casper, Wyoming to join the metalwork industry. He was employed at Excal Inc. as a metalworker starting on February 26, 2007. He continued with this position for 17 years until his passing. In his spare time, Miguel enjoyed trips to the shooting range, watching movies, listening to music, and playing retro games. He enjoyed collecting his favorite items, such as hats, watches, knives, DVDs, and Walkman’s. Miguel was a hard worker and took pride in his strength. He was often known for his sense of humor and witty comebacks. Miguel liked to make people smile and reminisce about his past experiences. He had many different interests and loved to share them with those close to him.

  Miguel is preceded in death by his grandmother, Magdalena Verdin, who passed away on August 19, 2013. He is survived by his mother, Maria Elena Garcia, father, Donaciano Garcia, youngest sister, Veronica Garcia, middle sister, Paloma Smith, brother-in-law, Matthew Smith, and his fiancé, Denise Parks.

  A public visitation service will be held at Bustard and Jacoby Funeral Home on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 6pm, with a rosary service to commence at 7pm. There will also be a bilingual funeral mass lead by Father Ray Rodriguez at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 6pm. Join us as we honor, celebrate, and commemorate Miguel’s life. Miguel brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with his kind heart, radiant smile, and boundless curiosity. Though his time with us was brief, the depth of love and happiness he shared will forever remain in our hearts.

  Miguel nació en Los Ángeles, California, el 1ro, de Diciembre de 1985, hijo de María Elena Verdín y E. Rocha. Miguel se graduó de Azusa High School en 2003. Unos años más tarde, en Febrero de 2007, Miguel y su familia se movieron a Casper, Wyoming, para unirse a la industria metalica. Trabajó en Excal Inc. como graneador a partir del 26 de Febrero del 2007. Continuó en este puesto durante 17 años hasta su fallecimiento.

  En su tiempo libre, a Miguel le gustaba ir a practicar tiro al blanco, ver películas, escuchar música y jugar videojuegos. Disfrutaba coleccionando sus artículos favoritos, como gorras, relojes, cuchillos, DVDs, y radios. Miguel era un trabajador incansable y se enorgullecía de su fuerza. A menudo era conocido por su sentido del humor y sus respuestas ingeniosas. A Miguel le gustaba hacer reír a la gente y recordar sus experiencias pasadas. Tenía muchos intereses diferentes y le encantaba compartirlos con sus seres queridos.

  Miguel fue precedido en la muerte por su abuela, Magdalena Verdín, quien falleció en Agosto de 2013. Le sobreviven su madre, María Elena García, su padre, Donaciano García, sus hermanas, Verónica García y Paloma Smith, su cuñado, Matthew Smith, y su prometida, Denise Parks.

  El servicio de visita pública se llevará a cabo en la casa funeraria Bustard and Jacoby el jueves 30 de mayo de 2024 a las 6 pm, con un servicio de rosario que comenzará a las 7 pm. También habrá una misa bilingue de cuerpo presente el viernes 31 de mayo de 2024 a las 6 pm, oficiada por el Sacerdote Ray Rodríguez en la Iglesia Católica de San Antonio.
