Patricia Middaugh

Patricia passed away September 27, 2019 at Wyoming Medical Center at age 92. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska April 22, 1927 to Pat and Meta Spethman. She married Lester Middaugh on December 24, 1944. Lester died on Mother's Day May 13, 2001. Patricia lived in Casper most of her life, except the few years she and Lester lived in Colony, Wyoming. Lester hauled bentonite. He later sold his truck and they moved to Newell, South Dakota to be closer to their daughter. Lester developed COPD and couldn't handle the humidity in Newell and they moved back to Casper where they lived out the rest of their lives. Patricia and Lester were married 56 years. Patricia took care of her mother until she passed away in 1997. She also took care of Lester until he passed away in 2001. She worked at H&R Block for numerous years during tax season. Patricia and Lester enjoyed taking their grandkids and nieces and nephews fishing. Patricia loved fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking and baking. You never left her house hungry. She is survived by two sisters, Ellen Crowsen and Joan Stoner; her two children, Susan of Casper and Bob Middaugh; three grandchildren, Calvin Taylor of Gillette, Todd Middleton of Belle Fourche, S.D., and B.J. Minne of Douglas; great-grandchildren, Sage Taylor, Sierra Taylor, Raelynn Branam, Sydney Durham, Lezley Minne, Leyland Minne, Addison Middleton, Avery Middleton, and Amity Middleton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2019 at Bustard's Funeral Home. Rosary will follow at 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2019, at the funeral home.
