Randle Logan Belt, Jr.
August 2, 1964-May 18, 2024
Randle Belt died peacefully at home May 18, 2024, after a valiant battle with cancer.
Born and raised in Casper, WY, Randle grew up with four older sisters who included him in everything from dance classes to playing dress up. He was a ladies man due to all the lessons he learned from his sisters. When Randle brought you into his life as his friend, you not only became his friend, you became his brother. Randle kept his friends close to him throughout his entire life and cherished every moment he was able to share with them.
Following graduation from Natrona County High School in 1982, Randle pursued his passion for skiing by taking a job in Breckenridge, Colorado for 2 years before returning to Wyoming to complete his BA in Finance from the University of Wyoming. While at UW, he joined the SAE Fraternity where he and his brothers’ extracurricular activities are legendary.
Following UW, he pursued his pilot’s license from the Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma and earned his multi-engine, instrument rating certification, and instructor’s license. Randle then went on to work for Spartan School of Aeronautics as a Gold Seal & Advanced Ground Flight Instructor for several years. Flying planes and teaching others was Randle’s true passion in life. He returned to Casper in 2001 to help his Mom with her business, Petroleum Title Service.
Randle loved to fly, and would ski anywhere he could find powder, rode motorcycles over trails across Wyoming, and always loved “Tank”, his ‘78 Chevrolet truck, and his white ‘72 Mustang Coupe. If an activity involved speed and bodily risk, Randle was game and always mastered whatever it was.
Randle was the son of Randle Logan Belt Sr. and Virginia (McNare) Belt and brother of Sonya Morgareidge, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents Vern and Alice (Jones) McNare, his brothers-in-law, Donald James Morgareidge and Mark “Nick” Nickel. He is survived by his sisters, Karma Thompson, Randi Lou Nickel and Kathleen (Leo) Giangiacomo, all of Casper. In addition, Randle enjoyed his 8 nieces and nephews: DawnMarie (Matt) Marshall, Jami (Chris) Warner, Sean (Karen) Thompson, Cherese (TJ) Gibbons, TJ Nickel, Maggie (Josh) Baker, John (Rose) Heisey, and Michael Heisey. 10 great-nieces and nephews and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and very close friends.
A graveside committal ceremony will be held at Wyoming Memorial Gardens at 1:30 PM followed by an open house celebration of his life at Bustard’s Reception Center at 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM on May 31, 2024.
