Robert G. Rush

Robert Guy Rush Sr., age 57, resident of Casper Wyoming, passed away on January 02, 2024.

Robert Sr. was born on April 6th, 1966, to his mother Terri Rush in Merced California. Robert lived his childhood in California raised by his Aunt Dawn. At age 17 Robert began a relationship with Jennifer Roach whom he would marry and have four children. Robert Andrew Rush Jr. was born in Colorado on September 25th, 1985. Jessica Andrea Rush was born in California on June 13th, 1987. Jonathan Paul Rush was born in California on August 20th, 1988. Heather Renee Rush was born in Wyoming on December 14th, 1989. Jake Alden Sample was born in Wyoming on October 5th, 1991, to Jennifer Hinderliter and Clint Sample. Although, biologically, Jake was not born to Robert Sr., Robert cared for and loved Jake as his own helping raise him all the same.

Robert’s life was a huge adventure full of family, friends, music, love, and experience. Spending most of his life as a chef or line cook for various restaurants while living in multiple towns and cities, he felt most at home in Star Valley Wyoming. His favorite passing times were spent playing pool, meeting new people, and playing music in various bands. He was an amazing storyteller, gave the absolute best hugs, and most of all he was an amazing father. Robert would give anyone the shirt off his back in a heartbeat if it meant they were better off than him.

Robert Sr. was predeceased by Terri Rush (Mother), Joseph Rush (Brother), Mark Sidman (Brother-in-law), and others unknown who have passed away. Robert Sr. is survived by Jennifer Hinderliter (Frank Hinderliter), Pam Sidman, Dawn Duxbury and family, Candie Seals and family, Jim Crouch and family, Robert Rush Jr.(Alyssa Rush), Jessica Rush (Ilya Rosikhin), Jonny Rush, Heather Dombek (Kenneth Dombek), Jake Sample (Danielle Sample), Ronald Haines (Amber Haines), Angel Everard and family, Bobby Bryan and family, and his seventeen grandchildren.

A Celebration Of Life will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Sat. Feb. 24, 2024 at the 19th Hole Restaurant in Casper WY.
