Robert "Bob" Theodore Brown

Robert "Bob" Brown, 97, passed away on June 6, 2026.

Bob was born on November 18, 1928, in Baldwin, Kansas, to Ted and Wilma Brown. He grew up with strong values of hard work, service, and family that would guide him throughout his life.

Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army and later with the Kansas National Guard. Following his military service, he spend his career in the automotive industry, where he built lasting friendships and earned the respect of those who worked alongside him. 

Bob was a man who truly enjoyed life and the people around him. He loved spending his winters in Yuma, Arizona, and treasured time at the family cabin in the mountains, where he enjoyed snowmobiling and making memories with family and friends. He was an active member of the Elks Lodge and was known for his friendly personality and love of socializing. Whether sharing stories, laughing with friends, cheering on the Denver Broncos, or watching his favorite old Westerns, Bob found joy in the simple pleasures of life. 

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Wilma Brown; his first wife, Donna Brown; and his second wife, Mary Brown. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Miller; daughter, Bonnie Prince and her husband Richard; sons, Ted Brown and his wife Nancy, Tim Brown and his wife Terry, and Tom Brown and his Wife Kerri. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren - Chris Harris, Scott (Lanette) Harris, Dawn (Chris) Skipper, Brandy Brown, TJ (Karisa) Brown, Amy (Justin) Dykes, Kimberly Brown, Heather (Nolan) Buresh, Brett Brown, Andrew Brown, 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. 

Bob's greatest legacy was the love he shared with his family and friends. His kindness, sense of humor, and ability to connect with others made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for a life well lived, a heart full of friendship, and a deep love for family. 

He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered always. 

A service of Military Honors will be held on Friday June 19, 2026 at 10 AM at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery, 80 Veterans Dr, Evansville WY.

A celebration of life will be held at the Casper Elks Lodge on June 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
