Roger Evan Hill (73) died 3-9-18 at home surrounded by loving family. He was born 3-18-44 to Lloyd and Betty Hill in Great Falls, Montana. He spent his early years around Valier, Montana and Missoula, Montana. He moved to Wyoming in 1980 with his family. His childhood loves were riding his bike, baseball, fishing, and camping. He graduated from Sentinel High School in 1962 in Missoula, Montana where he enjoyed playing french horn, sports, and school plays. He worked for the Montana Highway department. The job took him to Drummond, Montana where he met Julia Page. They were married in 1967 and raised 2 children, Kathy (Wayne Lowe) and Jason (Cindy Castillo). He served 6 years in the Air National Guard in Montana; traveling monthly to Great Falls for drills until his honorable discharge in 1970. Roger and family lived in Orchard Homes area in Missoula, Montana from 1971 to 1980 where they raised a large garden, selling and processing all the produce. In 1980 Roger took a job as Parts Manager at HW Moore in Casper, Wyoming. They lived in Bar Nunn, Wyoming for 35 years. Roger served on the town council for 13 years helping develop Bar Nunn. In 1984 he and his good friend Walt Stone purchased the Hotsy business and operated it for 13 years. He then became a mail rural contract carrier until his retirement in 2006. His main hobbies were square dancing, fishing, playing cards, telling stories,spending time with his kids and grandkids,and working on home projects. His favorite tease was finding M&M's behind the ears of his grandkids. He and Julia enjoyed 2 winters in Mesa, Arizona near Kathy and family. LIVING THE DREAM. In 2014 they finally built Rogers dream shouse on 40 acres with their son and his family nearby after several years of planning. He enjoyed many hours working the land on his tractor. He loved to feed the fish in Jason's pond watching them bubble to the surface. His greatest joy was time with family and friends, always ready with a story and joke. He loved teasing the grandkids: Shalyn Lowe, Cameron Lowe, Paige Hill, Peyton Hill, and Parker Hill.
