Ronald G Kraft, 76, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away on June 29, 2023, at Central Wyoming Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer.
Ron was born September 9, 1947, in Sheridan, Wyoming to Donald and Irene Kraft. He graduated from Billings High School in 1966. He served his country in Vietnam where he earned a Bronze Star. Ron later moved to Casper, Wyoming where he met and married Marina Caster. Ron attended Casper College and obtained a degree in marketing and business. He worked as a real estate agent for many years and travelled around the state selling insurance. He enjoyed hunting with his father-in-law, fishing with his grandson and watching him play baseball. Another past time he enjoyed was riding his dirt bike in the hills around Casper.
Ron is survived by his wife, Marina Kraft of Casper, daughter LeAnne Bell of Houston, TX, son Rick (Cassie) Young of Casper, daughter Michelle Rotherham of Grand Junction, CO, and his brothers Dennis (Caroline) and Kirk (Laura) of Phoenix AZ, his nephews Duane and Daniel Kraft of Casper as well as his grandchildren Kendrick, Mariah, and Olivia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Irene Kraft, his brothers Donald Jr and Lionel (Lee) Kraft.
As per Ron’s wishes, there will be no services. His remains have been interred at the Oregon Trail Veteran’s Cemetery. He wanted to gracefully say, “see you later”.
Memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels or Central Wyoming Hospice. The family would like to extend our heartfelt thank you to Central Wyoming Hospice for their wonderful care of Ron in his final days.
