Roy Maben

Celebration of life for Roy will be Saturday October 24, 2020, with an open house from 1 pm to 4 pm at 3640 Hawthorne Ave. Casper Wyoming. Please fill free to wear your favorite baseball attire.

Roy Allen Maben, 70, of Casper, passed away on October 10, 2020 after a long battle with COPD and Heart disease.

Roy was born on January 16, 1950 to Roy and Darlene in Shenandoah Iowa.

The highlights of his life were his loving wife, kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. He also loved baseball and having players from the Casper Rockies and Casper Ghost living with them over 10 years. He was proud to tell everyone that several of the players made it to the major leagues. Favorite past times were refurbishing furniture and rebuilding cars, He loved the Bronco's and Rockies.

In 1969, Roy met Jeri, and they wed in 1969, going on to have Three children, Sons Troy Maben and Michael Stieb and daughter Velvet (Grady) Davis. Brothers Marty (Sandra), Richard (Kathi), Gene (Karen), Donnie. Sisters June, Connie (Larry), Karen (Roger). Eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Darlene, sister Clela, brothers Robert, Elton, Bill, Jim, and daughter Cindy Lou.
