  Sandra (Sandi) Lee (Rock) Griswold passed away unexpectedly at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming on January 6th, 2024 at the age of 69.

  Sandi was born in Casper, Wyoming on November 17th, 1954 to Byron Gair Rock and Mary Katherine (Rainey) Rock.  She graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 1973. Sandi was a stay at home mom and homemaker until she and her husband, Curtis Lee Griswold started Griswolds' American Disposal Inc., a local commercial trash company in 1992. After the sale of the business in 2008, Sandra enjoyed an early retirement with her husband.

  Sandi married Curtis Lee Griswold on December 15th, 1973 and just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were high school sweethearts and lived a very happy and quiet life together.  They had one daughter, Lea Mary (Griswold) Wonser. Sandi enjoyed spending time with her family and pets, traveling, camping, reading, gardening, Bible study, and donating her time and love to her church, College Heights Baptist Church.  She taught AWANA, Sunday school, Super Church and gave her time to many other activities as well.

  Sandi was a very warm, generous, and genuine person that shared her love, light, and insight with everyone she ever met. She saw the good in everyone and the silver lining in every cloud.  She touched the world with her sincerity, unconditional love, and infectious sense of humor.  She was the kind of person you loved the moment you met her. She is unforgettable.

  Sandi is survived by her husband, Curtis Lee Griswold, Casper, Wyoming, and daughter, Lea Mary (Griswold) Wonser. She is preceded in death  by her father, Byron Gair Rock, mother, Mary Katherine (Rainey) Rock, sister, Christina (Rock) Snyder, and twin sister, Shelley (Rock) DeLany.

  At her request, there will be no service. Memorial donations can be made to the Casper Humane Society.

  The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the loving and caring church family at College Heights Baptist Church for endless support and help in this difficult time.  They would also like to thank the ICU staff at Wyoming Medical Center for the love and compassion they've shown Sandi and her family.
