Sandra Dell Wright Age 70

December 1, 1950- December 9, 2020

Sandra passed away at Wyoming Medical Center following a battle with Covid-19. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Anne Larsen, and her sister, Anita Fitzgerald; all of Casper. Sandra is survived and greatly missed by her family; daughter, Kayla Post (Craig Post) Granddaughters, Shaylinn Davis, Stefany Post, both of Casper, and Amanda Jacobson of Williston, North Dakota and their children, her nephew, Jesse Martin, and her best friend, Carol Hafner.

Sandra was born in Phoenix, Arizona and moved to Casper with her family. She graduated from Natrona County High School in 1969, and earned her Accounting degree at Casper College. Later in life, Sandra earned her Master’s Degree in International Criminal Justice. Sandra continued working as an Accountant and Tax Accountant until she retired. Her dream was to move back to Arizona with family as she enjoyed the warm weather.

Sandra enjoyed retirement and spent a great deal of time doing things she enjoyed. Sandra mostly enjoyed spending time with her family doing fun things like BBQing, shopping trips that were always eventful, and she loved going to the movies. Sandra spent many hours with Shaylinn exploring town and people watching. They always came home with great stories about their days together. She loved taking a drive to “anywhere” to look at the sites and enjoy the scenery. She often took day or weekend trips to Colorado and the surrounding area to shop or visit attractions. Sandra was also a lover of seafood and ate it as often as she could.

Sandra was a woman of faith and watched Joel Osteen daily on TV and read his books. We take comfort in knowing she is with our Savior.

Mom, you are loved by many and we will miss you everyday. We will never forget the courage and strength you illuminated over the past few weeks. You are no longer here in body, but we feel you and will never forget the love and joy you brought into our lives. Until we see you again.

Sandra’s family would like to extend their gratitude to all the members of the Wyoming Medical Center/Family Practice team for the extraordinary care and compassion they provided. We know she was greatly cared for and touched many while in their Covid unit.

There will be a celebration of life later in 2021 when it is safe for family and friends to gather. In lieu of flowers or donations, my mother would wish that people would come together and show compassion for one another and follow Covid precautions for everyone’s safety.
