A Celebration of Life for Shirley F. Boyles, age 92, will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 27, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Casper with Rev. Steve Burnett officiating. Reception will follow the services. Viewing will be Wednesday, May 26, 2010 from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Bustard's Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery at 10:00 AM prior to the service. Shirley passed away May 23, 2010 at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center where she had resided for the past 10 years. She was born May 13, 1918 in Valentine, NE, the daughter of Faye Pettycrew Evans and LeRoy Evans. Shirley went to school in Valentine, NE and Phoenix, AZ. She graduated from Sioux City Central High School in 1935. She moved to Casper in 1936 where she met Grant Boyles. The couple married on April 12, 1937. After raising her family, she completed the program at Casper College to become an LPN. Shirley was a dedicated Christian and an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Casper. She also faithfully attended services at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church the past several years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by four daughters, Sheila Patton and Becky (Wayne) Ford of Casper, Penny (John) Willey of Arizona and Deborah (Del) Barber of Wright, WY; grandchildren, Carrie (Patton) Stollard, Jana (Patton) Vogt, Dan Patton, Kelly (Ford) Schweda, Stephen Ford, Terri (Ford) Chuman, Carla (Willey) Fields, Laura (Willey) Sharp, Lisa and Matthew Boyles, Adam Boyles and Rhett Ebersole; great grandchildren, Eric and Erin Iserman, Anja Vogt, Shane Robinson, Lindsey and Eli Ford, Madeline and Emily and Kyle Chuman, JT and Jett and Jack Fields, Ethan and Tyler and Karsyn Sharp; niece, Larua Evans and nephews, Randy and Kenneth Evans. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Grant, sons Terrance and Roche, grandson, Jeffery Patton, brother, Jack Evans and her parents. Memorials may be sent to the First United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor's choice. The family will receive friends and correspondence c/o Becky Ford at 3453 East 8th, Casper, WY 82609.
