Stacie Lynette Seyfang

December 2, 1965 — August 27, 2025

Casper

Stacie Seyfang, 59, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away on August 27th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous seven-year battle with ovarian cancer. Throughout her journey Stacie never complained about what she had to endure, instead her only concern was the well-being of her family. Her strength, grace, and selflessness were an inspiration to all who knew her. Stacie will forever be missed by her family and all who knew her.

Stacie was born on Dec. 2nd, 1965 in Casper, Wyo. to Eugene and Sharon Dobbins. She was the youngest of five siblings and held a special place as the "beebee" of the family. On May 3rd, 1981 she married the love of her life Tom, with whom she shared 44 beautiful years together, she was the love of his life. During their marriage, they lived briefly in San Diego, CA and later in Phoenix, AZ before returning to Casper, Wyoming to raise their family. Together, they raised four beautiful children-Brandon Jacob (1981), Tamara Dawn (1985), Lindsay Ann (1988), and Hannah May (1989).

Stacie found her greatest joy in being a mother to her children. There are many fond memories of their mom’s soothing voice singing "You Are My Sunshine" or jamming out to some classic rock n' roll! Stacie shared a very close, unique bond with each of her children. Stacie also worked as a waitress in Casper, and touched countless lives. She was beloved by many customers who became her regulars as she brightened any restaurant with her kind smile and cheerful spirit. Everyone who worked with Stacie easily became her friend and grew to love her. She was so easy to love. People will remember our mom for being the "cool, hippy chick" who brought sunshine to any room.

Stacie was blessed with nine grand-children, each of whom she made feel uniquely loved and cherished. Stacie spent countless hours snuggling, baking cookies, and rubbing "piggies." Her grandchildren will remember their "gramma" whenever they see Cherry Pepsi, peace signs, fudgesicles, sun tea, and sunflowers. You could count on Gramma and Papa to bring cookies and hot chocolate to the Christmas Parade every year. She passed on her love for guitar music to her grandsons. Stacie was often heard telling her grandkids she "loved them more than chocolate" and turning every moment into an adventure. The memories made with her grandkids will forever live in their hearts and in their sweet tooth.

Stacie was a shining light in this world - radiant, warm, and full of love. She adored sunflowers, tie-dye, and peace signs. She loved to spend time outside in their garden or dancing with her husband to some good ole rock n' roll. She loved going to concerts, you could easily spot her dancing, or hearing her famous concert whistle. You could often find them riding their mountain bikes on a beautiful day or on the back of Tom's Harley. She liked to spread her arms like a free bird when they would ride. She found comfort in her favorite show Little House on The Prairie and caried an enduring love for the simple things in life like swinging on her porch swing and watching the sunset with her husband. She loved attending all the family gatherings and sports events and would loudly cheer for her family. Above all, Stacie will be remembered for the boundless love she gave her family, the warmth she extended to everyone around her, and the way she made everyone feel special to be loved by her.

Stacie is survived by her loving husband and soulmate of 44 years, Tom Seyfang - her four children Brandon, Tamara (Scott), Lindsay (Colby), Hannah (Chris) - her nine grandchildren Haleigh, Jacob, Christopher, Alijah, Myah, Mason, Jayde, Jaxon, and Avalynn. She is also survived by her brother Brett and Brian and her sisters Pam and Julie, and their families. Stacie had a large extended family who loved her very much as well as many loving friends.

Stacie is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Kern Dobbins and Sharon Kay Dobbins.

A celebration of life will be held on Sept. 20th at Bear Trap Meadows. A formal announcement will be made by her family. Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories and honor the beautiful legacy Stacie leaves behind. Everyone is encouraged to wear tie-dye in her honor.

Though she is no longer with us, Stacie's love, light, and smiling eyes will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. As our mom would say, "all you need is love."
